Shea Homes

As Vice President of Community Development for Shea Homes Southern California, Brooke Doi helps lead the Division’s Project Management Team and entitlement efforts, as well as actively working with the Land Acquisition Department on new project feasibility.  Prior to her current role, Brooke was a Project Manager for Shea Homes for over ten years working on a variety of product types throughout Orange County and Ventura. Brooke’s notable accomplishments include the development of Baker Ranch in Lake Forest.  Following approval of the General Plan Amendment, Zone Change and execution of the Development Agreement, Brooke began work on the Baker Ranch Area Plan and TTM, which was approved by City Council in 2012.  This approval included 1,760 for sale homes, 430 market rate apartments and 179 affordable apartments.  Baker Ranch includes over 100 acres of slopes, parks and landscaping, including a resort-style clubhouse, three pool facilities and a 250-foot pedestrian bridge spanning over Alton Parkway.  The development of Baker Ranch also included the construction of a three-acre neighborhood retail center and restoration and preservation of the Borrego Wash requiring collaboration with Army Corps of Engineers, CA Dep.t of Fish & Wildlife and the County of Orange.  Most recently, Brooke worked on the successful entitlement efforts of a partially vacant shopping center in the City of Mission Viejo. Brooke is a graduate of the University of Southern California where she majored in Business Administration as well as ran Cross Country and Track & Field.  She received a Certificate in Light Construction and Development Management from UCI Extension and has been an active member of the Building Industry Association; serving as Co-Chair of the BIA Next Gen Committee for two terms as well as the BIA OC Board of Directors since 2017.  Brooke currently resides in South Orange County with her husband and two children.
