HomeAid is the charitable arm of the BIA and HomeAid Orange County is where BIA/OC gives back to the community. HomeAid Orange County's vision to end homelessness starts at the core – where does someone go when they suddenly find themselves without a home? HomeAid gives children and their parents, along with individuals, the opportunity to move from benches to beds to self-sufficiency. HomeAid achieves its mission through advocacy, development, and service outreach.

The Dale & Bea Stuard/National Housing Endowment Scholarship Fund (The Fund) is a generous fund created by Dale & Bea Stuard. Dale Stuard is a former chairman of the National Housing Endowment of the National Association of Home Builders (NHE/NAHB) and a former BIA/OC President. This scholarship program is a clear demonstration of the Stuards’ firm commitment to giving back to their industry and helping students become qualified professionals. This financial assistance can sometimes be the deciding factor when students are considering continuing their education.
Applicants for the scholarship must either be a graduating high school student in Orange County or have graduated from an Orange County high school in the past five years. They must also be pursuing a career related to the building industry. Successful completion of coursework, which the applicant is currently enrolled, is required. The scholarship is applicable for payment to two or four year colleges, and vocational/certificate programs.
