Adam Wood serves as the Director of Government Affairs for the Building Industry Association of Southern California – Orange County Chapter (BIA/OC). In this role he works closely with local electeds and government staff to further the BIA/OC’s mission to champion housing as the foundation of vibrant and sustainable communities.
Mr. Wood has 16 years of experience in political and government affairs within Orange County and the State Capitol.
Prior to joining the BIA/OC, Wood worked for Mobilitie LLC where he was responsible for one of the most significant public/private land use deals in Orange County. Standing at the forefront of telecommunications technology, Wood was responsible for working with local governments to secure major infrastructure projects within the Public Right-of-Way.
A long-time resident of Orange County, Wood went to Los Angeles to earn his undergraduate degree from Loyola Marymount University in Political Science. Additionally, he earned a Master Degree in Public Administration from the University of Southern California and a Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University. Adam is a licensed attorney in the State of California.
