BIA/OC Supports Fire Victims Through Donated Services
Contact: Sarah Bruckner 949-553-9500
IRVINE, CA - Our thoughts and prayers go to all those who have lost or have damaged homes due to the recent wildfires. It is an extremely unfortunate situation but we want to praise our local firefighters and emergency crews who have worked around the clock to help their neighbors.
Many of our members have stepped up to help and are donating time, labor or professional services to help those who affected by the fires. As a first step, the BIA/OC has initiated an immediate “Call to Action” for anyone able to donate time, services, products or money to the victims of the fires. Within only a few hours, the office had received word that over five member companies had stepped up and within the next two days, more than 20 had offered to help with the cause. Members are donating services such as permit checks, copies of recorded documents, volunteering labor and free window installation.
In addition, the BIA/OC is partnering with the County of Orange and members of the County Supervisor’s office so that the rebuilding process can begin as soon as possible.
Information for services available is on the website, www.biaoc.com. Please contact Kevin Ward (kward@biaoc.com) if interested in donating. BIA Orange County extends its sincerest gratitude to all our members for their considerable generosity.
