IRVINE, CA – The BIA/OC will be holding the 2007 Economic Outlook dinner, the most anticipated event of the year, on Monday, January 22 at the Irvine Marriott hotel. “Outlook 2007” will kick of the year by providing the expected 1,000 guests with the largest networking reception of the year, expert economic forecasts for the industry, and of course, dinner.

This event will feature presentations by two of the best economists Orange County has to offer. Dr. Esmael Adibi is the director of the A. Gary Anderson Center for Economic Research and Anderson Chair of Economic Analysis at Chapman University. Dr. Adibi is an expert in macroeconomics, financial markets, and regional economics. Peter Navarro, Ph.D. is the author of numerous bestsellers including “the Well Timed Strategy: managing the Business Cycle of competitive Advantage,” “If It’s Raining in Brazil, Buy Starbucks,” and “Big Picture investing: How, When, and Why the Stock Market Moves.” Both men will lend their economic expertise to predict the market for the building industry’s upcoming year.
