IRVINE, CA – The 2006 Building Industry Show (BIS) is being held at the Anaheim Convention Center on November 16-17th is the official trade show of the Building Industry Association of Southern California.

This year, the Building Industry Technology Academy (BITA) students of Katella High School in Anaheim have built a scale model playhouse in their classes which will be on display at BIS for both days at booth TBL-N. This playhouse is unique in the structure as it is a steel frame and capable of being completely disassembled. The original plans were re-engineered by the students so that the structure has the ability to be transported.

The students and instructors of Katella are extremely proud of this project and will be in attendance of BIS to show their craftsmanship to the participants. The BITA program would not have the opportunities they do without the help of the North Orange County Regional Occupational Program.
